i finally attempted to make my first cupcake cake. i have to admit, this was a bit challenging because i was pressed for time, but since it was going to my son's freshman j.r.o.t.c. class, i needed to do a cake where you didn't have to worry about cutting. thanks cali4dawn for your tutorial!!! the picture is in the gallery under no category.

You did a great job! I'm going to have to make up some kind of occasion so that I can make one of these. Am I correct in guessing that you do not use paper liner cups when you do this?

Yes, yo do use liner cups... well, I guess it's a choice... but much neater in people's hands if you do.

I have a basic ccc tutorial. Go to my webshots page and look for "Cupcakes- Making it a special event."

I believe it's on page 2.

icon_biggrin.gif That is a really great tutorial Dawn! I looked at all of your tutorials! You must've put quite a bit of time into that, thank you from the bottom of my newbie heart.
I guess the paper liner cups would help quite a bit in the mess factor... hadn't thought of that.
