I'd like to know myself. I've never worked with chocolate so I'm curious about how this works. Can some one clue us in on how to do this, Thanks.

I know that Pastry Diva is familiar with this technique and she discussed it in another thread. I think the thread was about chocolate ribbon??

A chocolate transfer is done basically the same way as a bct. Just take your picture and place waxed or parchment paper over it. Pipe in our outlines with melted chocolate (i don't use a tip - just a plastic piping bag with a hole cut in the end) and fill! You can use pre-colored chocolate coating to do this too. Once hard you simply peel the backing off and use! There are a couple pictures in my gallery of ct's. Two of them done by my 9 year old son.

Check here for a tutorial on chocolate transfers. These are the directions for BCT and then the chocolate is right after it.
