I was just practicing with fondant, and got some ideas off here with the human figures. So, I tried my hand at a Fondant Boy, first time (pictured below) but while i was working with him, his head got a little flat in the back icon_cry.gif Any one have any tips for me??? Any help would be appreciated, thanks so much!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

My tip is to put his head on a toothpick or skewer once you get the shape you want. Just handle it then by the toothpick/skewer and you'll have no misshapen heads!

It's also a great tip for drying b/c then you can just stick the toothpick in styrofoam or the like!

I think Aine2 suggests using a cel former., once head is shaped, you need to handle as little as possible. I tried using a mound of cornstarch or pwd. sugar and it still got a little flat.
