I think I have found a new love... cupcake cakes. They are so much fun to do. I've only done two of them (the snowman and the tiara) but can't wait to do more. This one was done for a preschooler who won't wear anything but this pink princess outfit EVERYWHERE. There are going to be a lot of mom's at the party- maybe it will drum up some business. Thanks to all who offered help!
Very cute! I have never tried to make one of these, I'm not really sure how to do it. It might be fun to try sometime! Thanks for posting the picture!!
Wow! That is beautiful. I have alot of trouble with this. I can't seem to get the cupcakes to stand up. I bet the little princess loved it!
That is precious!!!!!!!! I haven't tried that because I don't or haven't seen instructions on how. How did you do that?
Beautiful job! I'm glad you enjoyed the process so much ... your attitude is very infectious! Suddenly I want to try one of these, too (and I never wanted to do this before!)

Very Nice! So Cute!
I would love to try something like that, But i have never seen anything like it here...
I must agree I'm loving cupcakes as well. Wilton has a new line of cupcake items that is sold only on the website or at Michaels. I purchased the year book for cupcakes and love it.
I have been too scared to try a cupcake cake as I just can't get the image out of my head of cupcakes moving all around the table as I frost them! How do you get them to stay together...without moving and falling on the floor??????
It looks great, so smooth! I am intimidated by cupcake cakes 'cause I just can't fathom how to ice them all together so it looks like a cake
I hope you get some business from the party!
That is such a neat cake! My daughter now wants one as see caught me looking at it!!!
How many cupcakes did you need for this cake?
Great Job! For sure you will get lots of business
I was REALLY afraid to try them at first but once I completed one, I got the "bug" I figured out the pattern and then just "glued" each cupcake down to the board with a little frosting. Just make sure that they are close enugh together so that the frosting doesn't fall through. Then ice away just like a cake. I believe I might have seen an article/tutoral her on CC somewhere.
The tiara was 36 cupcake.
I was in Michaels' this morning and saw the Wilton cupcake mag and all of the new cupcake "stuff" the silicone cups with feet are TOO CUTE!! I had to resist the urge to buy anything though. Did anyone see the really tall/big cupcake pan? It looks so neat. Can't wait to have the business up and running so I can buy suppliesand write it off.
Thanks for the compliments. I want to make another CCC!!!
I have seen that new cup cake pan and really would like to buy it but I am having trouble making up a good excuse to purchase it.
my hubby dosn't think I need it .
