How To Charge For Gumpaste/fondant Flowers....

I was wondering how you all charge for gumpaste/fondant flowers.
Do you charge the same price for a cake flowers or not, or do you charge extra? I just see cakes with beautifully gumpaste flowers on them and wonder how much you charge to make them? TIA Keli
I charge extra. A small spray costs around £12, a medium spray £20 and a large spray £30 but not sure how these prices compare with american prices
Depends on the flower....I charge less for roses than I do for a lily, or other flowers that have to be wired together.
Generally...I charge by the tier...the smaller the tier the lower the charge...6" tier $20....8"..25-30....10" 35-40...see what I mean.?? That would be for the roses..and filler flowers and leaves...the wired flowers generally $5.00 per flower and up.
If you look in my photos...the basket cake with the flowers on top...you will see what I mean. Most of them were wired flowers..that topper on the cake was $100.
Thanks, that is a big help. WOW your cake is beautiful. I am just starting to learn gumpaste flowers and I hope mine will turn out close to yours one of these days. Great job. Keli

That is one gorgeous cake. The only thing that I see wrong is the paper plates!! That cake deserved fine china, not paper plates.
