I am going to be making the Course III Present Fondant Cake and wanted to know if I could use MMF for this? Has anyone used it to make this cake. The only reason I am asking is because the recipe says that it takes longer to harden than regular fondant.
I used MMF for the ribbon and bow and it turned out fine. I used Wilton for the covering and flowers because I wanted to see how each was to work with.
I used MMF for all my course cakes and they came out great. If you are making the one with the bow, you might want to take some paper towels to wad up inside the "Loops" to hold them up till they dry. I even shared the MMF recipe with all the class and the teacher and they loved it! Good Luck!
Thank you guys so much for your help!! I can't wait to try this recipe out. BrittB you did a really good job on that cake it's beautiful.

The paper towel thing is a GREAT tip!! They come in super handy when it comes to helping the loops hold their shape til the fondant hardens.
