I had actually seen some cupcakes like that..but now I cant find them on the internet. What the person did was frost the sides red and then made some frosting gold with a little more brown added to look like honey and iced the top and then she made some of the gold frosting go over the sides.....how many cupcakes are you looking at doing?

Are you wanting to make each individual cupcake look like a honey pot? Just an idea if you don't want to do that. You could make a cupcake cake and shape it like a honey pot. That would be a lot easier if you don't want to make individual ones. You could even fill the cupcake with caramel or some "honey" colored icing for a really neat effect when they get eaten. I sent some to kindergarten with my daughter and when the kids bit in and found red, blue or yellow icing on the inside, they went wild.

Hope that helps & Have fun!

We actually want individual honey pots because....we don't want to make it easy...hehe!! Thanks for the ideas. I like the idea of honey colored frosting in the inside.
