Just to set the record straight these are NOT made of marzipan, they are made out of polymer clay. Here is a link to the real artist's website, she does STUNNING work!

Those are differt babies and yes they are made of clay the ones I poste are marzipan
heres the site http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/548309/
I am sorry to disagree with you, but did you look at all the pictures on that page? The same exact photo that you posted is from that site.
WOW, did you see the life sized babies on that site? They are all so beautiful and life-like!
Those babies are amazing. The one who did them has so much talent. I'd love to see them decorate a cake.
Those really are polymer clay, and not marzipan.
However, I have been working with a mixture to make fairies and figures
and I have come up with a chocolate clay/gumpaste, that has a translucency
to it . Those babies are made with some of the same types of tools and techniques that are used for "sugar arts". They can be replicated in chocolate
and look just like that. With the exception of the fuzzy hair, which would make it no-edible. I have been working on this technique for a while now.
wow! those babies are out of this world!!!!! how amazing! thanks for sharing!!!!

I think they would make a great addition to a cake though...but I would definately put a "blanket" of something between them and the frosting.... they are remarkable...I bet they are bookoo bucks too!
Yes they are I went to the web site and they start at 200.00 to 2,000 but they are beautiful.
