Cake for painter

Any help with a cake for a painter. Not artist painter, buildings, water towers, bridges, and industrial things. Thats what he did for 40 years. About a month ago he stared a new job teaching painting to teens who have been kicked out or have dropped out of school. He loves it. They paint everything from outside tables to buildings and parking lots. This is for my dad he will be turning 60.
Most of you are far more creative and clever than I could even think about. Any help would be GREAT.
Thanks

You could make the cake look like a gallon of Paint, With a paint brush on the side made out of fondant..... icon_biggrin.gif

This could be simplified fairly easy but keeping the general idea as few of us can sculpt a cake like Mike.

Just an easy fun cake, I would throw in a paintbrush.

This one could be adjusted to fit more of a strictly painting theme with a paint can instead of hardhat and roller instead of screwdriver etc.
