Doing a Sea World theme tihs weekend. Any ideas?

Here are mine:

1. doing an edible image of an underwater scene such as dolphins or Shamu and then covering it in blue gel.

2. drawing one of those glass tanks with the blue water and make MMF dolphins to stick in the water and some jumping out or through a hoop help by a trainer. (sounds like lots of work)

any other ideas??

Go to the galleries and click on animals. There is a wonderful picture of a Whale coming out of the water (cake)..I think it would be perfect! P.S. your ideas are great and so are you cakes!

Here is a neat cake that I think would work for this theme, instead of the scuba diver you could put a dolphin or whale. You could mold the characters from fondant or if you are fondantly challenged like me then use chocolate molds.

Good luck, I'm sure you will do great !!!

That is an adorable cake! I wish I'd seen it sooner! They wanted an 11x15 though and I ended up just drawing some dolphins in water....ran out of time. The party was tonite so I don't know if the birthday girl liked it or not! I'll up load soon.
