What consistancy do you need to get your RI in order to do more complex detail work? For instance leaves, petals, drop flowers? Whenever I try to do this, either my RI is too runny and just turns into an unrecognizable blob when it comes out of the tip, or it's too thick and won't come out of the tip at all. I use the squeeze it bottles (the kind that you can change the tips) do you think this may be my problem? I've never gotten the hang of parchement bags but maybe I'll have to learn.

The one right in between. icon_wink.gif Seriously, though, you just have to experiment to find the consistency that works.

I've never used a squeeze bottle and I hate parchment bags. I use disposable bags and couplers for all my decorating. Be sure to clip the end of the bag closed so the royal doesn't dry out from the open end.

I wash disposable bags in which I've used royal since it's not greasy. They wash up very easily.
