Today we made more of our pulled sugar roses in class, the sugar was cooked to a higher temperature, but I worked with it...almost dislocating my shoulder in the process...but what's a girl to do?

We are allowed to bring them home because our sugar pieces are being broken by the class after us in their carelessness ( wish I could post their work so you can see the terrible damage that's being done..lol)

I was trilled since I have a cake to make for one of the student, I figured...cool...I will plop my pulled sugar flower on top and kill 2 birds with one stone.

I put my piece in a pie tin and tear the lid off the pie box it's in so nothing taps my green curly thingie. ( it's already missing a bud. I dropped it as I was trying to put them on, but no biggie) That's why the green curly thing is so thick...it was supposed to hold the buds...

So I walk across the cafeteria where the culinary labs are and when I get near the doors...IT'S POURING RAIN OUTSIDE...

OH NO!! what was I going to do? Quick thinking I ran into the little candy store in the cafe and got a bag to throw over my piece.

In the drive home the bag is moving because of the AC and I know that the green thing is breaking...but I figured it was repairable at home...I brought more flowers home.

Sure enough I get home and some of the green is gone, but it's still got a bit going on after the little bud, so far so good...still looks good.

I put the box down on the TV tray table near the armchair and go into my room to take of my chef uniform.

I come out and guess who's sniffing, eating , licking or whatever he was doing at my green thingie? My black cat Houdini! Well, he breaks the rest of the piece down to the little bud as he's running for his life with me behind screaming like a Banshee.

But I think it looks better now..lol

He was just helping me out! Everybody is a critic!!!

Good thing the part that he touched with his nose is off now!

The pic it too big to post here, I will put in gallery under Cat tastrophe..lol
