I can never get images to post here like Tenderheart did for her bowl question.

I cut and paste the image prompt. Then I cut and paste the url. What am I doing wrong?

All I see is a box with an x in it and the word "img"

Hi, Dawn--

I don't know if these instructions work for most photo-storing sites or not, but I store mine at Photobucket.com, and when looking at my photos there, there is an option called "Generate html [tag, I think]." I just click on that and copy/paste that html [tag or whatever] here. Does WebShots have a similar option?

P.S.) I just realized that subject lines in responses only show up if one quotes that particular post. I thought for sure I had included certain things in a few subject lines last night and lo and behold, I had, and had not lost my mind. 'Whole lotta' learnin' goin' on. icon_smile.gif

I haven't checked into photobucket.

Right now I'm using webshots for tutorials and you guys to look at. I use Yahoo for customers to only see cakes and not tutorials.

I pay webshots $20 a year for up to 3000 pics.

I'm hoping to get my own site soon.

Let me try this:

Woo-Hoo!! It worked! I couldn't find what you mentioned. But then I thought to myself.. that info should be under properties... right? So I right clicked on the picture, clicked properties and used that URL address.

Wa-La!!

Thanks for the help... it led me in the right direction.

Hmmmm...The photo's not showing for me, Dawn. I still see a red X in your post.

When I click on your red X and right-click "Properties," and then copy/paste the URL into the title bar, I see your photo. But no, just looking at your post, I don't. I guess it couldn't be marked private or password-only or anything like that since I can see it at least one way, right? I don't know what else to suggest. Someone else probably does. icon_smile.gif

Nope! Don't see it..just a red X. Would it have anything to do with the file "extension" of the image you are trying to attach? Just a thought!

I just found this on webshots help:

Due to abuse, you can no longer display Webshots images on other websites. You can only view Webshots images from Webshots pages and within the Webshots software. Alternatively, you can post a link to the page that contains the image you'd like to display.

So here's my photobucket picture:

Can ya see it now?

Post surgery.... she was very bad... we had no choice...

But I felt so badly for her...

She better now. That was a year ago.... but she's still bad.

In fact, we call her Bad Kitty more often than Ursula!!

Those things always look so uncomfortable for pets, but yeah, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. If I had such a contraption here today, I'd probably post a photo of it and ask Squirelly if I could bake a cake in it. icon_wink.gif

I know we all love out pets, but to watch them try to live their life when they have those cones on them is pretty funny.
Ever watch your pet try to eat with them on, my inlaws dog had to have one on and her food was on the floor. You would hear it clunking around when she was trying to eat. Or becuase she is such a dippo, she would turn around near a wall and you would hear this loud thunk because she hit her head on the wall with the cone. My father in law finally cut the cone down a little bit so that she wasn't so clumsy, but she still couldn't lick her wound.

I don't often laugh out loud when reading the posts, but I did at this one. You are a hoot. Thanks.

Wow!! I wonder why you could see it and no one else could?

I call it a boat motor. Technically it's an immersion blender.

My cat had to eat with her cone on. We would take it off of her so she could eat and she'd zoom straight for her surgery stitches. I felt so mean. But she already had an infection for biting the stitches before we realized what was gong on... there's no way we could continue to let her harm herself. She was so sad though... she had to wear it for 4 weeks!
