Is there anyway to quickly fix a bent/leaky springform pan? The one i have is bent in one area. Not horribly but enough to leak some batter.

Thanks!!

If it doesn't effect the shape of the cake....just line the bottom outside of the pan tightly with aluminum foil before you pour in the batter to avoid a mess in your oven.

As adven68 said, use aluminum foil.

Place the insert on the bench-top [counter-top]/
Tear off a piece of aluminimum foil and lay on top of the insert.
Slip and clamp the sides into position.
NOW:
take the raggety edges of the foil and smooth them UP the sides of the pan. If they won't stay up - tie with string. The foil makes the pan leak-proof.

Just wrapping the insert does not consistently work. This method acutally makes a lining - above the insert [inside] and up the sides [outside].
