...fluffy boiled icing.? I have the recipe, but not sure if anybody has used it, or what it's like.

Hi BriBB,

I have never used it...too much work but a friend of mine use it all the time to do her coconut cakes and it is really good.

Please give it a try and let me know how you like it.

My aunt used to make a stawberry sponge cake with boiled icing. It was very light tasting but the consistency was a bit gooey if I remember correctly. Give it a shot. It was good as I remember it - we'd fight over the cake thumbs_up.gif

BJ,

When she makes her coconut cakes, it is gone in no time...only thing about her cakes is that she makes them to small, only about an eight inch 2 layer...not big enough. icon_cry.gif
