...fluffy boiled icing.? I have the recipe, but not sure if anybody has used it, or what it's like.

I have never used it...too much work but a friend of mine use it all the time to do her coconut cakes and it is really good.
Please give it a try and let me know how you like it.
My aunt used to make a stawberry sponge cake with boiled icing. It was very light tasting but the consistency was a bit gooey if I remember correctly. Give it a shot. It was good as I remember it - we'd fight over the cake

When she makes her coconut cakes, it is gone in no time...only thing about her cakes is that she makes them to small, only about an eight inch 2 layer...not big enough.
