I have a cake to do for saturday. The theme is under the sea. its for a baby showe and the baby is a boy. I cant think of anything. well not anything that would look good. i need some help here.

Wow... that's a weird theme for a baby shower! Hopefully you'll get some great ideas... I'm drawing a blank. icon_sad.gif

How about making the cake ocean blue with waves all around, and a fondant baby on a little float of some kind on top? You could put some fondant sea creatures around and some candy shells. HTH! icon_smile.gif

This maybe a little "out there" but.....how about going with the water scene as suggested and put a cute fondant octopus on top and each arm(?) could be holding a different baby item...bottle, pin, blanket etc. Trim the sides with tall seaweed and shells.

Thanks for the ideas. I really like the octopus idea. I have a mold for candy melts to make under water creatureds fromw hen i did my sons sponge bob party i was thinking of using that. Keep the ideas coming
