Hi, I just got a new sugarcraft gun. I have only tried it out for practice, but when the fondant comes out it looks like it is all splintering does that make sense? Like snake skin or something icon_lol.gif ! I was just using some old fondant, could my fondant just not be pliable enough? I thought I greased everything up. I was using the larges round disk I believe. Thanks for any help!

Knead some Crisco into your fondant and also add a light film of shortening inside the gun. If it still seems dry you may want to warm the fondant for a few seconds at a time in the microwave, just until it is warm and pliable. Be careful, the fondant can have hot spots and you can burn your fingers.
