I am lookin' for a recipe for a white cake for a wedding. Something that you have used for actual wedding. If you don't mind sharing. Is there a cake recipe called Brides cake????
Thank you,
Tiffany
There is a recipe called Bride's white cake..... 1 package plain white cake mix, 1 cup whole milk, 1 stick melted butter, 3 large eggs and 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract. Mix all of this for about 2 minutes. Pour into two 9 inch pans and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. This recipe comes from the Cake Mix Doctor by Anne Byrn. I have not made it but you can always make a practice cake. It does sound like a really easy recipe!
Hi,
There is a recipe in the recipes section called Wedding cake.
Here is the link: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-1190-Wedding-Cake.html
It got 5 stars...I haven't tried it, so I can't comment on it. Just thought I would send the link to you.

Hey Leslie.. thanks for pointing that one out... I was looking for a white recipe and missed that one since I only looked at ones with white cake in the title!
I may have to try this..... I only wonder how "white" it actually is with all those egg yolks.... HUM...
Anyway.. know you haven't tried it, but wanted to say thanks for linking it!
Okay, this is not exactly a white cake, but it sounded interesting and promising....

I have made a white champagne cake for many wedding cakes. You just replace the water in a cake mix recipe with the same amount of champagne...don't know if the taste is any different as the alcohol bakes off but the brides seem to like it!!
