Can someone tell me the difference between vanilla blend and pure vanilla in taste and how good it is.

Food Lion have it on discontinued mark down from $6.99 to $3.34.

If it is good, then I would love to buy some.

Thanks

plain pure vanilla tastes horrible alone (of course) but has an actual vanilla flavoring...where as the blended vanilla your vanilla taste is less noticable and other flavors come into taste..... I prefer 100% vanilla.

100% vanilla is extracted right from the vanilla bean.A vanilla blend usually has other flavor enhancers and ingredients mixed in to give it the vanilla smell and taste.Kinda like artificial vanilla extract and then pure Vanilla extract. You can smell and taste the difference like Flav said!!!

Oh Yeah....Pure Vanilla is double the cost sometimes triple for specialty vanillas from Madagascar and Mexico... etc

Vanilla extracts from the store are usually cheaper!!

Thanks flav,

If I buy this, then I would have to double the amount to get a good taste?

I'm not sure ....do a taste test and see!!!I know that pure Vanilla is stronger so you need less.

I think you will still have a great taste, but what I have been known to do is add a tad bit more then I would reg vanilla just like the ladies here say..you dont need too much of the reg vanilla to have a great taste... when I say a tad more something like 1/4 tsp more.
