Hi, everyone. I have been searching on the Canon site for a printer and reading some old posts. I am planning to buy one, but I am not sure which to get--IP1500 or IP 3000. So can you tell me which you use and why. I just want to get the one that most fits my decorating usage. Thanks a ton!!!

Hi Tanya...I use a canon i-350. It's like the 1500 in that it holds 2 cartridges. I don't print many images so it works great for me. If I were to print a lot of images, I'd go with the 3000. It holds 4 cartridges and they're a lot easier to refill too.

okay, I got it wrong on the other topic. I thought that you used the 3000. Are the cartridges very expensive from Kopykake? I also need one that I don't use too often.

I think they're expensive which is why I refill. I haven't bought just the cartridges in a while but last time I did, they were about $28 for the iP1500 (2 cartridge) and I think $55 0r $60 for the iP3000 (4 cartridge).
