Hi my name is Michele and I am from Alabama. I have always loved baking and designing . I have just recently decided to pursue my love for decorating and baking cakes. Right now it is just a hobby but hopefully one day I will be good enough to open my own business. I am about to make my first one for my boyfriends b-day. He is into exotic animals(critters) and I thought it would be really cool to make one with tarantulas ans scorpions. Well I am definant on the tarantula. Well I was unsure what to use to make it but I am going to try fondant first and see where that goes. I really hope it turns out nice. I will post it as soon as I get it done and hopefully it will be worth looking at. . Hello and welcome to cake central. When you get ready to work on your little critters think about giving the Marshmallow Fondant recipe on here a try. It works great for modeling and taste better than lots of fondant. It's also a lot less expensive.
