Wow, I was on Ebay just browsing when I noticed that Martha's beehive cake pan was up to $256! Yowzers, I have that pan and I think I paid $25 for it. Sorry folks I'm still trying to process that, it's a cake pan...just a cake pan.

Ebay is crazy! And don't people know that they can get most of this stuff, especially Wilton pans, right off the Wilton website? Really, even if it's some sort of "vintage" pan, when are you going to use it enough for it to be worth your money? Maybe if you only want to make bee hives for the rest of your life.....

Hey bikegirl, are you sure you still want that beehive pan? You could get rid of it on ebay and buy lots of other cake stuff!

They are paying that kind of money to get something of Martha's...she's an icon now.lol

Forgot to add that one person paid $150.00 for a cake turntable that flips from round to square...can get it in the store for about $40.00...go figure.

Really, why would you need to flip your turntable? I have several, and my favorite it the $6.99 Lazy Susan I found at IKEA. Maybe I should put the rest on Ebay.....

Hi tastycakes,

It is the kind that you can use for the sheet or the round. I made one myself (diy) person.

I made it taller so I wouldn't have to bend.

Love it to death.

I just center my rectangular or square boards on the big circle. Sometimes I use a little piece of that non-skid rubber so it won't slip. I never thought about making a square. Something new every day!

Wow, you are handy. I just keep most of my cake stuff in a cart (also from IKEA, but on a different trip), so I just wheel it out a few times a week whe I need it. I lack counter space.....but you've probably got a solution for that too! Really, I'm just jealous! Good for you!

Anything that I think will make life easier for me.

I made a 4' x 4' storage building...then I made a 10' x 10' storage building. Did everything but the A-Frame.

Forgot to add something................. I always browse around ebay and some of their prices are pretty crazy. But if you look carefully sometimes you can find a good deal. When I first started buying all my supplies for decorating I went into Bulk Barn and found the Wilton 52 piece tip set for $65. So I went to ebay hoping to find it cheaper. Well I did and I only payed it $20. By the time it got to my door I paid it ....................... are you ready????...............................$32. I was so happy icon_biggrin.gif

Just thought I'd share.

EBAY is like shopping any place else-you have to watch for the bargains and watch those shipping charges-you can get some things pretty low but the shipping charges are horrible-watch and search-you might be surprised to find things similar or that will work just the same someplace else! Don't get me wrong-I get alot from ebay but you do have to pay attention!
