I have been asked to make a 3D horse cake and the lady sent me a picture of one that she wants...it's sculpted from an 11X15 cake piled up...I think that will be too small though so I"m wondering if anyone has ever tried to make a horse from the stand up lamb pan?? Do you think it could be made into a horse lying down? She is paying me $100.00 so I want it to be big enough and look fantastic!

I love the 3-D lamb pan have used it a couple of times most recently to make tiger cubs. If you go to Wiltons site under additional uses you will find the instructions to make the 3-D unicorn using the lamb pan, it can be easily adjusted to make a great horse lying down. If you place it on another layer oval or sheet cake then you should have a large enough cake.

If you do a search in the gallery for horse or unicorn you will find several using that pan. There is also one at http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=favpics&cat=0&pos=11

Good luck, I know you will make a great cake.
