Has anyone ever took a 10x10x2 cake and stood it up on it's end on top of another cake??? How would I support it?? Do I need to make it out of a heavyer cake or can I just make the cake mix denser somehow?? She requested yellow cake mix.
also what would be the best way to transport this cake??? The Person who ordered it is coming to get it her-self. I don't want it to fall over in her car and make a mess.

You must make two cakes separately as if you went to give them this way, also placing a fine tray in which it goes above. The one on down you don`t have to absorb it and to place it small sticks of support in the center much so it maintains the other.
The best way to transport it, would be separate and then put it together in the place its going to stay.

I guess what I'm asking is how do I get the vertical 10 inch tall cake to stand up with out falling or breaking?? I know I have to place dowel rods in the bottom cake so the top cake doesn't sink in. but what kind of support do I use for the tall cake???
