Well, it might not be perfect for everyone, but it's perfect for me!! It's the Pontiac Vibe (and Toyota Matrix, which is the same car, but we got the vibe). It's a hatchback with good mileage, and all the seats fold down completely flat! It looks like a little sport SUV/wagon without being one. Plus, there's no carpeting to get all greasy and crumby - you just put down the shelf liner and it stays in place. I just did a five tiered wedding cake (the stress of my life, let me tell you), and it did beautifully! Who would have thunk that it could fit in my trunk? I am so happy. And when I'm not doing cakes, it's great for a family get around car. Very versatile. Now I just need to convince Pontiac to pay me for advertising...

I looked at the Vibe, also. We did have a Grand Am and a GMC truck, but we traded the truck in on the Ford Focus Wagon (I call it a Sport Wagon b/c I refuse to drive a station wagon). I LOVE IT!!! We had lots of problems with my Grand Am so we went with Ford--my DH office uses Ford and get great service, mileage and no problems (so far). I've had my "sport wagon" for a year now and I can really deliver.
