Great job Stephanie! You're string work is excellent on the Barbie cake. VERY even and consistent lines - you're a pro!

Daniela, once again, thanks for your compliments.

kthomas, my stringwork still need alot of practice...this was the second time ever doing it.
Don't know about being a pro. lol...striving to get there icon_cry.gif
Thanks so much for giving me new hope.

irisinbloom, thank you also.

After getting some help from CC about getting the color red, I now use the Americolor deep red, black and brown colors and love them to death. As I use up the Wilton colors that I have, I will replace them with the Americolors.

When I use red that I have made up in the freezer, I always mix up more to add to what I have used up.

Hope this little trick helps...I don't want to run out of red. Also, I do the same for the black.

Stephanie, I ordered the Americolor and still can't get red, I just know it has to be something I am doing wrong, maybe I am trying to hard. Thanks for the tipicon_smile.gif

Try doing about a cup at a time.

Use a large bowl and just do one cup at a time and then put that in the bowl and then do another cup and so on.
