I am making crusting buttercream. How much will one batch cover?
I don't want to make too much but I don't want to make to little.

I have 2 8 inches and a 10 inch cake.

I think I would make two batches. I would say the one batch could cover your 2 eight inch. I think you will need another batch for you 10 inch and then the borders. It always seems like I have some left over. I just put it in a container and save it for the next cake.

I am starting the cake right now. I sure hope I can do the faux fondant.

Yeah I always make extras also. I like to have too much rather than not enough!! I hate having to stop what I'm doing to make more buttercream!!!
