I know there are instructions on how to make calla lillies in the articles, but does any one know how to make the stems?
I need to make these for a wedding cake.

If I want long stems on them I wrap green gumpaste around the wire of the lily.

Use a large gauge wire to make the spadix, that will accomodate the gumpaste for the stem.

maybe with a clay extruder just allow time for the fondant to or gumpaste to harden.

any other suggestions

Thank you...I need all the help I can get.
The wedding is Oct.29...so have some time to practice.
The bride wants calla lillies on top and down one side.
