Cake mix boxes usually say that there are 12 servings once the cake is baked. My question is: Would there technically be more portions if it's sliced in wedding cake style? Do I make sense?

i think so and depends on your portion size.....I always use a 2x2 or 2x3 I like to be generous with my cakes.......
