I heard that the owner of a small restaurant in my town made cakes and that she had a room full of cake pans. So I went in there today to check it out. OMG! I was amazed, she had three big walls full of cakes pans. She was not there, but I talked to a waitress there. She said that the owner sold cakes and that she bought all of those pans from a lady a couple of towns over. It was like I was in cake heaven. Standing there with my mouth wide open staring at all of these pans.

That's my dream someday too....a larger kitchen and a complete side room with shelving for all of my cake stuff! Wouldn't that be GREAT???

Maybe she'd be willing to rent them out to you if you ever needed one of her pans.

That's what a cake lady in my town does. She rents the pans out for $1 per day! That way I don't have to clutter up my tiny space with pans that I may only need to use once!

I thought about that after I left. I always think about things like that after I am gone. Anyway, I will definitely give her call and see what she says. I would have loved to see her prices, but they were not posted. Since I don't have many places to compare mine, to. I hate to ask her since she knows that I do cakes too. I will have to get somebdy else to do that for me. Ohh, Mom! lol

Good Ole Mom will call her! Or Gimmie the Number I will call her for ya! lmaoo... I have a Ton of pans also, I am sure I could fill at least 2 maybe even 2 1/2 walls. I found a Great deal on ebay and got like 14 pans for 30.00 with shipping, then finding them here and there at thrift stores and my biggest Bargin was trading a small wedding cake, grooms cake and a b-day cake for a Ton of pans, and pillars, plates, fountain, figures and lots more stuff. I was like in Hog HEAVEN and then I also felt like I was ripping the girl off then after all the cakes were done I was like nahhh.. I didnt rip her off.. =0) she got out good and I made out like a bandit. =0) I got all the sets too. & I also got a WONDERWOMAN pan from 1978.. bet she is worth a penny or 2.. =0)

I knew all of you would understand how I felt standing in that room staring at all of those pans. When I told my husband, he's face looked like mine probably does when he is telling me about cars.

I still can't believe how many she had. I wish I knew how much she paid that lady for all of those.
