I am making a 9 inch round 2-layer cake for my friends wedding anniversary. Their wedding color was emerald green. Does anyone have any good ideas on what I can do? They only like buttercream. They are not fond of fondant or gumpaste. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How about icing the cake in emerald green and adding flowers, borders, etc. in white?
