icon_smile.gif Hi,
Has anyone of you done stencil on cake NOT using powdered sugar ?
I saw a photo in a magazine lastnight and stencil was used and I thought it looked very elegant..But it was not powdered sugar..It looked like it was Royal Icing..very pretty !!! It looked like lace work.. Would that be Royal Icing that is soft enough to spread/run but stay in shape ?

Need your input..have a nice day thumbs_up.gifusaribbon.gif

UNDER GOD will stay.....no matter what they say !!!!

Eve..yes....lay your stencil on the cake and use a palette knife to spread the icing....lift up the stencil and there you go.

Practice first so you get the hang of the pressure needed to spread...
