First time using straws for support, any suggestions or advice for future appreciated, this was a pain to ice as it was so tall! Saying that, it's the first cake I've wanted to hang onto to just one more moment to stare at!

Best feeling in the world to be able to step back and look at what you have achieved and just smile.

Nicely done!  Love the design and how you decorated the cake board.  My only recommendation would be to make sure you clean your blade when cutting those waves.  I can see a slight ragged edge on the darkest blue.  I've found super sharp and super clean blades help reduce that a lot.  Also, looks like you may have bumped the fondant a bit when placing the anchor or the rope, or there may have already been a slight imperfection in the fondant.  Avoiding that comes with practice (still working on that myself!), but I've found working with a cold cake so it's quite firm helps.

Yes, that's exactly the feeling, when I surprise myself! It was the first time making 'waves' and I learnt a few things there lol :) thank you, the rocks were the easy part!
