Can I make a shiny chocolate glaze by just melting chocolate and vegetable oil? Or, do I need to make one from scratch to get this effect? Can you pros tell what kind of strawberry glaze this is?
But I don't think chocolate mixed with vegetable oil will give you shiny...it just thins out the chocolate. It will probably set dull. I only think that because that's how my cake pops turn out because I don't temper the chocolate at all.

AAny link?!? I do a glaze on some of my cakes mixing chocolate+cream+some nice rum+vanila+spoon or two oil...looks shiny and its really tasty
