I have been making my own buttercream for the past 2 years. I am now thinking I should buy already made buttercream to cut down my work since this is a one woman job :) I have researched Satin Ice vanilla buttecream, CK white buttercream, and also Sam's Club white But-R-Creme ( lol) Has anyone bought any of these...if so, which do you recommend?

i've used the but-r-creme -- we re-whipped it and i mean whip -- we added almond flavor and it was really good-- it came out smooth as silk -- we filled the mixer bowl up over the top of the beaters and it was perfect white icing

Just go to the bakery counter and ask for a bucket of white buttercream. Just fyi, they also sell smaller buckets of several colors; at least my Sam's does. I agree with @K8memphis - good quality but needs rewhipping, either by mixer or by hand.

AWe used but-r-cream in the bakery. We started each morning by filling a 10 at mixer bowl with it plus 1/3 cup water. We whipped it a minimum of 8 minutes and longer when we forgot the mixer was running. It was smooth and easy to work with. Frankly its the taste customers expected.
