AWe just moved into a rental that unfortunately features tile countertops. What's the best solution for rolling out fondant? I've thought about going to Ikea and buying a big piece of their solid surface counter material. Any other ideas?

I did pretty much the same thing in my kitchen once it was built.  The 2 6-foot stainless tables were nice, but they had rounded edges and didn't meet properly in the middle.  So I just bought a big piece of cheap formica countertop and sat it right down on the tables.  It has served me well for almost 10 years now!

AWe had tile counters in the house I grew up in with a piece of plexiglass over a section.

AI thought about buying one of those stainless work tables but I can't think of where I'd be able to put it. I'll have to go see if plexiglass or a piece of countertop will be more cost effective.
