Hey everyone.

I recently purchased a printer with edible ink.  I have printed a few things for decorating my cakes with that I just printed the way I would normally print images on my computer.  So far this has worked out fine for me, however I have been asked if I could do some cupcake toppers.  I was just wondering of anyone knows where I could get a template for printing cupcake toppers or any software that I could purchase that would be good.  When I bought the printer it came with software for printing toppers and I just installed.  It looks great for printing cake toppers but when I try to print cupcake toppers, it allows me to print a sheet of 12 cupcake toppers although it only allows me to print one image and I would love to be able to print a sheet of 12 toppers with 12 different images on it.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I think Icing Images provides you with templates if you buy the paper from them, but you'd have to check on their website.

I do it myself in a Word document (you could also do it in Powerpoint). I have a bunch of circles set up in a table in Word, and import the images I want into each circle. The circles are just 5cm/2" diameter since that is the size of the paper punch I usually use for toppers, and I have a thin column in my table between the columns with the circles, and thin rows above and below, to leave a bit of space in between so I can punch easier. There might be an easier way to do it, or other software, but it works for me and it's free and quick now I know how!

Thanks for the reply Dayti.  I was toying with the idea of just doing my own template in word.  The thing that sort of put me off was getting the correct sizes for the cupcake toppers but I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to judge the sizes.  I will probably just end up doing a template in word as you said, it is cheap and quick.

Thanks
