Making A Deathly Hallows Emblem On A Cake?

Hi there,
I'm very much a cake novice but my son wants a Harry Potter Deathly Hallows emblem on his cake. It's essentially a big triangle with a circle inside and a vertical line through the center. I don't want it to look like a kindergartener did it so I was looking for some advice. how do I draw a straight line, or even a circle in frosting. or might I try fondant? Any ideas would be helpful.
AHow about a frozen buttercream transfer? Google search it and look in YouTube. It is an easy way to get an image on the cake when you are not too artistic.
If you're comfortable with Royal Icing you can make a design with RI, you can trace it on wax paper and pipe.
Similar to the frozen buttercream transfer, you can do it with melted chocolate. Same basic technique but you don't need to freeze it.
AAh, but don't try to make it all perfectly perfect, give it a handdrawn look! That's how I did mine anyways, like Luna's dad drew it when he told the story to the kids right before the death eaters showed up. so the question is...........once you've stabbed a cake with a basilisk fang, can you still eat it?????
Great cake AZCouture.
