Hi everyone.  I have some un-opened peach, bavarian, raspberry, strawberry, and lemon sleeve fillings which are about 2 months old and which have been "stored" in my refrigerator.  I will not be able to use them prior to the 6 month expiration date, and wondered if I can successfully freeze them to extend the expiration time.

I have an upright, manual defrost freezer that is specifically reserved for cake products and I could freeze them in that and the sleeve fillings would not be subject to freezer burn.

Thanks for the input!

They last forever, I wouldn't worry about freezing unless they are opened.

from website:

These items are on sale because their “best by” date has or are about to expire.

Limited quantities available. Only 10 of this item available.

Remaining quantities of this item can only be confirmed when checkout is complete.

This food item's “best by” date is 8/31/2014.

A “best by date” refers strictly to the quality, not safety of the product. This date is recommended for best flavor or quality. It is not a purchase or safety date. With many items, there may not be a noticeable difference. The date is determined by the manufacturer of the product.

Thank you Enga!   I appreciate the time you invested in finding the links.  I always do a lot of key word searches before asking, but had not turned up either of those.

It's was no problem Apti, it was just something that was fresh on my mind from searching for fillings that don't need refrigeration along with WASC's recipes, lol.
