I'm making a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and I was going to use the Hershey's recipe with the modifications I found here (subbing sour cream and adjusting leavenings).  But then I just found this recipe that sounded promising and was wondering if anyone had tried it or anything like it before?

Just trying to decide if I should try a new recipe.

I've never used this recipe before but, it looks similar to the one I make.  It looks quite goo and it should work for about anything.  Let us know how it turns out if you make it.

It depends on what texture you're going for.  If you want something light and fluffy go with the Hershey's.  If you want something heavier go with Scott Clark Woolley's recipe or the Epicurious Double Chocolate recipe.

Definitely looking for light and fluffy for this cake, so I will go with the Hershey's.  Those other recipes will definitely go on my list to try!
