AI have a cake that needs finished by tomorrow & all of the stores near me are out of Satin Ice! That's the only fondant I've ever used so I'm confident with that fondant! I don't have time to make any. I need to know which is the best fondant to use that I can buy in stores. I live in Indiana so we have places like Michaels, Joann's, Hobby Lobby, etc. I've heard that Wilton's is no good. What's the next best fondant?!

I would say make your own.  Marshmallow fondant.  Any other fondants I have heard of would need to be ordered online probably like fondariffic.

hobby lobby in Iowa caries sunny side up fondant.   Several people on cake central have commented that it is made by satin ice.   I haven't tried it yet.   If it is difficult to work with try mixing with half new wilton fondant.  Good luck.

AIt's Satin Ice? Thanks for the heads up, I won't waste my money experimenting with that one. Whew!

AI keep seeing people say they hate that fondant! I thought it was the same as satin ice! I must have gotten a good bucket lol.
