AOk bakers, I need your help!! Here is the recipe I used...it has a great flavor, but what can I do to get a lighter, fluffier texture? 1 3/4 c flour 1 1/2 c granulated sugar 1 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 c softened butter 2 eggs 3/4 cup milk 2 tsp vanilla

I will be filling these with homemade apple filling!!!

ATry whipping the butter and sugar longer. When i do my cakes i whip them for at least 3-5 mins depending on room temp. The more the sugar cuts the butter the more it allows in.

AThe warmer the room the less time you want to whip it. Otherwise it melts down into a big mess.

AThis has been helpful to me because my kitchen is small & my last batch of cupcakes came out a mess.
