Hi! I am making my niece's 1st birthday bake based on this design which I think is perfect in itself! However, we need to add one more tier to it but I'm having a hard time deciding how to decorate the bottom tier. I would appreciate any suggestions that you could send my way! Thanks so much!

AI would suggest just putting the fringe &/or rope on it. Many times less is more :)

I would agree with the fringe or rope design, what about adding some flowers on the bottom as well?

Bottom tier the same as picture except horse of course, (snort snort), horse on top, and rope around top of tier, with the knot off center, tails hanging down with one flower only to the side of the knot, not all perfecty even and spaced out, just one.

White and blue stripes would be cute with the another rope as the border on the bottom and a few of the daisies maybe?

Cute cake by the way.

Or just a matching plain brown tier on the bottom with a couple of flowers?

AOr you could do a short scalloped brown corral fence around the bottom of the tier to coordinate with the fringe and put a few of the daisies coming up out of the top and a few blades of grass --

Cute cake by the way.

Sorry I didn't explain it better last night (rushing), I was referring to stripes like the ones on this cake.

AThanks everyone for your suggestions!! I was leaning towards the fence idea but now you've all given me some more ideas to think about! I will definitely post a picture when it's done! By the way - it will have to be purple instead of turquoise as my neice asked for that - I would prefer to keep it turquoise!

I missed this one last summer.  Very cute, cherrycakes.  The fence on the bottom balances things out nicely.  Gotta love the supportive, encouraging CC community.  :)
