Rkt Topper - Support Below

Hi!
I have made a minion out of RKT to sit on top of a double 10" cake. He's probably about 1/2 a pound and he's got a diameter of about 6".
I'm just wondering if I should be putting some dowels in the cake below or if it is not necessary
TIA! :)
i would probably dowel that -- i've never regretted putting in dowel -- depends on how dense the cake is -- is it gonna get delivered -- i mean with what you said it's right at the border line -- maybe maybe not -- but again you won't be sorry if you do while the opposite of that can't be guaranteed --
so i vote yes for safety -- but if it's just going from your kitchen to your dining room...and you put it on last minute...
AYup i agree! You need dowels, you can use about 3 bubble tea straws to make a triangle so the weight of the topper is distributed evenly :) it's better to be safe than sorry. You don't want your topper to start sinking in the cake :/ those RKT toppers can be heavy. Good luck! ;)
