Hi there!

My name is Aske and I'm an 19 year old boy from Denmark and I need your help!

I'll just cut right to the chase; I made a bet with 3 of my friends.

We each claimed, that we could fabricate the heaviest, thickest and most unhealthiest cake ever seen. The challenge ends this this Sunday, and by that time we've each had a week. Here, we'll meet up, taste the cake and make our judgement - and of course I would like to win this!

I've looked trough tons and tons of recipes, but i haven't seen one, which makes every other cake look like salad..!

I was hoping that someone in here might help me find what I need to beat my friends! .. Do you have anything in mind?

Let me explain a little what I'm looking for! :D Or at least what I would like!

- My over-all description of the cake would be: "A cake, which very appropriately could be named "Death by diabetes"".

- I'd like it to be fairly simple, not something, which would end up taking days to create.

- Peanut butter. That would be nice. I looove peanut butter!!

- Chocolate. A heavy, rich chocolate layer or something. Preferably a cake with a big amount of chocolate!

- Multiple layers would be awesome! Not, like, too many, but 3-4 layers! :)

Here's what I've come up with so far:

http://www.tastesoflizzyt.com/2013/04/20/reeses-peanut-butter-cake/ (omg, peanut butter)

http://www.thelittleloaf.com/2012/04/30/chocolate-caramel-peanut-snickers-layer-cake/

http://foodess.com/2011/03/moist-chocolate-cake/

I hope it might give you an idea.. But please, if you have just the right thing, which doesn't contain peanut butter or chocolate, then it's okay too!

Just bring on the suggestions! :-)

Cheers from Denmark!

- Aske

i would have suggested this one:

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/chocolate-chip-cookie-icebox-cake.html

and of course you would leave out the alcohol if 19 is underage in denmark -- idk

but i made it with toffee chips baked into the cookies-- however that throws off the dimensions of the cookies which is real important to the look of the cake -- everything all fitting together properly -- so i would suggest making it as written then just sprinkle toffee chips onto each layer as you build it up --

it's making my mouth water -- you really cannot each much of this at one time -- over the top rich in just the right way -- and it's easy to pull off -- and impressive

best to you

AI think his post was held because he was a new member. They do that now to eliminate the spam. Perhaps he didn't know/realize that and got discouraged from coming back.
