Hi!!! I'm new in baking. A client want me to this cake for her daughter birthday. She want two tiers cake and animals made of gumpaste. She also want the cake to be red velvet cake and cream cheese filling. It's going to be for 35 people. I had been doing flowers made of gumpaste but not animals. In total I was thinking to charger $262 but I'm not sure. :/

AIf it were me I would charge per slice, meaning how many slices I get out of the cake not per person. The only reason I say not per person in this scenario is because that cakes looks as if it would feed more than 35 people. I would charge separate for animals and flowers. For all non-wedding cakes, I have my pricing set per slice at $2 BC and $3 fondant, figures are based on size (e.g. sm. $1.00 ea., med. $2.00 ea., and $3.00 ea. lg.) and flowers are priced based on whether I'm using BC/royal icing (.50 ea.) or fondant ($1.00 ea.). Hope this helps.
