AI am new to baking, and I was wondering if I can add whiskey to a crusting buttercream recipe? I want a crusting buttercream because I want to use the VIVA method to make it smooth like fondant.

I haven’t found a crusting recipe that incorporates alcohol- can I just add it to the recipe?
