Hi,

I was wondering if I could mix edible glitter into frosting before piping it onto my cupcakes? I want that all around shimmer look.

Thanks!

No, the edible glitter [made with gum arabic] must be applied to the finished coating of icing.

AShimmer or glittery? If you want it to shimmer consider those pearl spray cans if you don't have an airbrush. For glitter you'd have to sprinkle it on as mentioned above

Do you use a butter cream that crusts over on top? You could probably dry brush pearl luster over the tops of each cupcake with a large soft blush brush.
