Hi there,

I am a very amateur cake maker & desperately seeking some help in re-creating this adorable cake I found on Pinterest. I want to make it for my daughter's 2nd birthday party.

Here is the cake:

Here are my questions:

1) Any recommendations on a bear cake pan that would be similar to this?

2) What type of frosting would you recommend?

3) What kind of piping nozzle would you recommend to get this sort of "furry" look?

4) What would you use for the eyes?

Any other tips?

Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to give :)

Im a newbie myself so you may want to wait on a more experienced member's tips but here's my $.02

1)  the Wilton bear cake pan should work for this

2) I would use a regular buttercream icing

3) This kinda looks like the star tip to me I think it's #16?  If not maybe the grass tip may give you a fur type of look?

4) For the eyes I wonder if you could use a white lifesaver and fill the middle with black icing for a uniform look.

Hope this helps.....
