AHi I was wondering if anybody could help I'm doing an aeroplane cake for a customer and wanted it off the board so was going to use dowels attached into a board and disguise them as the plane wheels. But I'm struggling what to use as the actual aeroplane board thatll hold it in mid air, if I cut a cake drum the compressed cardboard inside may flake out, or is there something I can use to cover the sides back up so its safe against the cake, or maybe thinking cutting MDF, again what can I cover it with that's safe to be in contact with the cake itself. As much advice would be great as I'm starting to panic a bit now. Helen x
